LEARNING A LESSON

To all my fans and readers, today will be my last Yankee blog. I would like to thank all of you that enjoyed thank you for giving me good comments. Also thank to my brother, getting my started. I have learned a lot these month. I will be going on my own.

The Yankees are improving, but still need work to catch the red sox. We still need more pitching and quality hitting. We need to get back to the glory days of Yankee baseball, hitting for base hits then getting runs and better pitching.

UP AND DOWN

Finally the Yankees win a series. The first game I really thought; here we go again, but the next game the Yankees win like the Yanks are supposed to, with hitting and pitching. Wang went 8 innings of no hit ball.

It is great to see the Yanks back to Yankee baseball. Hitting and good Pitching. I know Seattle isn't a powerhouse team, but we will take any win at this point. With that series win over the weekend, the Yanks are back in 2nd place of the East; only 5 1⁄2 games back from Boston. I really think with this weekend series we can get back to winning again.

We just need to hang around and not fall to far behind the Red Sox, then make our push in August and win this division.

DOWN TIMES

The Yankees are not used to losing this way, yes I know we won yesterday, but that was Texas. I will always be a Yankees fan no matter what. But I think George should go on the Wheel of Fortune and ask for a Pitcher and a middle relief pitcher. Our hitting is fine; it is our pitching that needs help.

Finally Mariana Rivera has got it going now. He now has 2 saves. I think we need to get some wins to get us going. Having this series with the Rangers will help. But I thought playing the D rays would help as well. That was wrong. This might be a good thing flying under the radar, and then come in August make our push for the 11th straight division title, and make another ALCS.

BRONX OR QUEENS

Today I will talk about something that might get people to talk about. What city has the better baseball team? The Bronx or Queens, Yanks or Mets. Over the years I would have to say the Yankees have had the better hand. But the past few years the Mets have had a better team. Once again it comes down to pitching, who has it and who doesn't't. The Yankees are still searching for those quality pitchers we had in the 90's. The losing streak we have had this year comes down to pitching. The Mets have has great pitching these past years. The Yanks need to do something; before we get so far behind we can't win another division for the 11 straight years. This will be Joey T's toughest year to manage.

If anybody has any ideas about what the Yanks should do, that would be something to read and respond to. I think the Yanks need at least 2 starters and 2 middle relief. What do you guys think?
